It's that time of year again to celebrate Courage on the Intrepid. Why not start your summer by enjoying a night with friends on the flight deck of the Intrepid Museum.

When is the last time you had a chance to drink on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier that fought in World War II, surviving five kamikaze attacks and one torpedo strike? She later served in the Cold War and the Vietnam War before being decommissioned in 1974.

This year's event marks the 10th-anniversary that was started by John Novak and Derek Wallis. It start out with the two of them bartending at Snafu and donating tips to now hosting corporate partners and supporters on the Carrier.

As always, there are two ways to support our military families through this event – visit our website and buy tickets online. Buying tickets on the early side is enormously helpful to us – we have a new beneficiary this year and it allows us to cover early expenses and size up how we want to put on the evening itself.

In addition to purchasing tickets, you can help by forwarding this email to your friends. Don’t assume your friends and colleagues know the event is on– please forward it on to see if they want to attend this year. All details are below and special thanks to our early sponsors BudweiserHeroes VodkaLiquidnetEnfusionSoho Dragon, & Notorious Pink.

What: Four-hour open bar with food, all proceeds benefit the United War Veterans Council.

When: Thursday, May 31st from 7 pm onwards.
