Our chapter president Fred Gasior will be running for VVA National Director at Large. Many business resolutions will be voted on. But the most serious resolutions we must vote on is whether we should dissolve the organization in a few short years. As a chapter, we will vote against any resolution that will bring an end to VVA. We will keep you posted.

Wall That Heals
September 28th – October 1st at Flushing Meadows Park
The Wall That Heals, a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., will be in New York City this fall.
Bringing The Wall home to communities throughout the country allows the souls enshrined on the memorial to exist once more among family and friends in the peace and comfort of familiar surroundings.
The Wall That Heals is an opportunity for us to help our city remember and honor those 200,000 New Yorkers who fought in the Vietnam War, and the over 1,700 who made the ultimate sacrifice -- including the 40 MIA/POWs who remain unaccounted for.
Help us spread the word about The Wall to local Veterans, Veteran Service Organizations, and our fellow neighbors.

The concert is planned for a Sunday afternoon, so we will have the rest of the day free. We need you all to plan to attend. We need to sell tickets and acquire sponsors.
