Our team had a very successful initial distribution today (11/4/19) of Lap Robes to 13 veterans confined to wheelchairs, at the Manhattan VA Hospital on 23rd Street.  
Presenting these service related blankets were: Fred Gasior, Michael Moreno, Michelle DellaFave, Joe Graham and Marty Edelman.

Leading us to the men was: Jonathan Alex, Social Worker.

Graciously receiving their service Lap Robes were veterans:

    Army - Sanford Rubinstein, Dominick Niglia, Johnny Quintana, Bill Loweth, Alfred Quashie,

   James Wiggins, Robert Glover, Roberto, Acevevo, Calvin Littles, Gilbert Weinstein
    Navy - Norman Bundock
    Marines - Eudes Garcia, Carmelo Rodriguez

We plan to soon be visiting the Bronx VA Hospital, and then the Brooklyn VA Hospital to present more.  Marty Edelman

Chapter 126...at the VA Hospital Manhattan... beautiful blankets for wheelchair vets... each has the branch of service and a collage of photos... also with President Joe Graham and Vice President Marty Martin Edelman and Fred Gasior and Mike Moreno... such a wonderful gift from our Chapter!!
