We gathered at Field 10 in Jones Beach in Saturday, August 24, to find that Mike Moreno, Fred Gasior and about 40 KAVWVs had set up a large picnic area with flags, patriotic table-clothed tables, charcoal and gas grills, and a tremendous amount of Korean and American food.   

At 11:30 AM, President Joe Graham welcomed everyone,  We recited the Pledge and Marty Edelman  played "America the Beautiful” on his guitar as we all sang a verse.  Joe then opened up the food and drink to everyone.

There were a total of about 70 men and women, including Nick Reynolds, recuperating form his medical procedure, to enjoy the camaraderie, food and drink from 10:30 until late.  We had a few members from the State Council and Chapter 32 and 72.
